Question: With 9800 or 2600 series, pump goes through reset and turns on fine, as soon as you open the nozzle the pump shuts off.
 
Answer: 99% of the time this means that there is a problem with the pulser. If the customer looks at the display they should see a 56 flashing intermittently, this 56 means pulser error. They need to replace the optical encoder (013078), the encoder is located in the pulser housing on top of the meter.
