How to Reboot your Ruby Printer
APPROVE KEY NOT WORKING FIX!

If your ruby is rebooting over and over it may be merely dust in your power
supply.
Get a can of compressed air and blow it out.
For many problems a simple system reboot will remedy the issue. To do this you will need to identify your power brick and proper power cables.

This is the back of the Powerbrick. Notice one round multipin cable
plug and one 3 pole standard power plug similar to what is used in computers.
This is a close up of the power cord both the wall side and the side in the Powerbrick. THIS CORD IS THE ONLY ONE YOU SHOULD EVER UNPLUG TO DO A REBOOT. Either end can be unplugged but you must make certain this cord is the one being unplugged
DO NOT REMOVE THE ROUND ENDED MULTIPIN CONNECTOR FOR ANY REASON. THIS WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF DATA AND POSSIBLE CORRUPTION OF FILES.
To reboot your ruby you disconnect your power
cord. Wait 30 seconds then reconnect.
Your Verifone™ will restart. If your problems no longer
presents itself, your done.

On your Verifone™ printer different issues can cause
it to malfunction.
To remedy this often rebooting just the printer can be a simple and fast
fix.
Follow the images and instructions to do this.
1.
First turn over your printer and locate the blue plug on the bottom with a cable plugged into it.
2.
Coming out of the connector you have a cable and a small button. Pushing this button will reset the printer. If you click this image a larger picture will show up.
